6mm Armies

In the Autumn of 2007, I decided that for a variety of reasons—storage issues, cost, tabletop appearance, ease of painting, standardization—I want to convert the bulk of my gaming to using 6 mm figures. Over the years I’ve actually amassed a fairly large amount of stuff like micro armor, old Heroics & Ros figures, Adler ACW & Napoleonics and Baccus Ancients & FPW.

This series of pages will chronicle my adventures as I “Go Tiny”.

Here are photos of the first three 6mm DBA Ancient Armies I purchased already painted from Tiny Tin Troops: Alexandrian Macedonian (with a close-up of the phalanx), Classical Indian (with a close up of the General's Elephant) and Persian (and a close-up of the Persian Spearmen). The figures are absolutely spectacularly painted miniatures from Newline Designs.
